The planet gets stressed out, too. We all know how things like pollution, oil spills, and cutting down too many trees are bad for the environment. But all of those things happen because people need energy and cars and paper to live. And with more than six billion people on the planet (a number that keeps going up) it's no wonder the planet is so stressed out. Is it possible we could each use a little less of that stuff and give the planet a break? Click here to take action.
Did you know that over 100 million cell phones that work just fine are thrown away every year? What a waste. All that stuff costs money. And what about all the clothes, shoes, and other stuff? Is it possible to still be cool and save your money and not throw so much away? What do you think? And what about the kids who can't afford all the new stuff? They must really feel left out. So, the next time you buy something, you might want to think about whether it's causing you MORE stress or less. And don't forget the planet—it gets stressed out, too. |
